boxing, the diversity of our studio classes offers something

for everyone, and our energetic, experienced instructors will

have you buzzing through the regime.

Spin

Perhaps one the best pure cardiovascular workouts, indoor cycling is an instructor-led bike ride to music, with rhythm providing the cues for differing speeds and intensities. Your ride may be flat and fast, slower and uphill or more often than not a mixture of both. Everyone in an indoor cycling class is in charge of their own bike's resistance which means that anyone can take part regardless of fitness level.

Box Fit

This class improves cardiovascular fitness, as well as toning the body and enhancing agility and co-ordination. Boxing drills include skipping, work on the boxing bag and punch pads. Strength training is an intrinsic part of the routine so get ready for push-ups, sit-ups and hand-held weights.

Suitable for those of an intermediate fitness level and beyond.

Boxing

Seconds out...round one...

Have fun, get fit and learn the basics of the noble art without fear of getting a black eye.

In this class you'll be taught stance and nimble footwork, basic punches, combinations and defence. All the elements of boxing training are included too. Skipping, focus pads, heavy bag work, speed ball and boxing conditioning are incorporated into a workout which will certainly challenge your whole body.

Boxing Circuits

This is a seriously good total body workout. You begin with a 20 minute warm up, which includes light jogging and dynamic exercises, namely burpees, core work, footwork, ducking drills and push-ups. This is followed by basic punching drills, sparring and some bag work.

You're then teamed off for fun boxing games, safe but enjoyable!

This class improves cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance, and provides an effective antidote to stress and strain.

Circuits

Circuit training is one of the oldest forms of group exercise. At its simplest, it is a set of exercises performed in sequence for a certain period of time.

Exercises including press-ups, squats, squat thrust, star jumps, crunches and running are traditional fair, but really anything goes and the imagination of the instructor is the only limiting factor.

Circuits keep the heart rate up and work all the muscle groups, so it provides a great cardiovascular workout for the whole body.

Suitable for all fitness levels.

Legs Tums & Bums

Targets those problem areas and you will start the see the difference in no time at all. The exercises are varied and include the use of weights, bands, stability balls and body bars, to help you achieve muscle tone, strength and endurance.

Firm up, tone up and shape up. Alternatives given for all fitness levels.

BodyMoves

Try something different as part of your exercise regime. This class draws upon dance and pilates techniques to improve posture, flexibility, muscle tone, stamina and core strength. It will leave you feeling and looking leaner, longer, stronger and toned.

Body Conditioning

The class starts with a high energy warm-up, a short running session to keep the heart rate up, and then continues with body sculpting. Free weights and body bars are integrated into the work out, which helps build strength, endurance and cardiovascular fitness.

Suitable for all shapes and sizes and levels of fitness.

Posture & Core Conditioning

This class is gentle yet extremely effective in targeting all muscle groups, strengthening the body from the inside out. Experience a range of exercises that not only reach those parts that other exercises do not reach, but provide the core foundation for all of the body's movement. An intensive abdominal workout is guaranteed.

Yoga

A traditional ‘Hatha' yoga class designed to increase mental and physical awareness, through a variety of poses and gentle stretching exercises, with an emphasis on controlled breathing.

Yoga will assist in balancing and conditioning the body. Yoga has proven a very effective way to blend exercise with relaxation techniques

Pilates

Pilates has become an increasingly popular exercise regime which is extraordinarily effective at building core strength. Every movement engages the abdominal muscles and so tightens and tones this area, whilst also helping with posture, alignment and flexibility. Those suffering from back problems will find this class particularly helpful.

StretchWorks

This class focuses on specialist stretching and strengthening techniques, correcting balance and posture, re-aligning imbalances in the body, reducing muscular tension and developing breathing techniques. The class is suitable for addressing specific injuries, and for enhancing overall fitness.

Fitball

The exercise ball .... a universal fitness craze that not only trims and tones the body, but transforms posture and develops mental focus throughout the art of achieving total balance. Working with the ball will bring a whole new perspective in isolating, strengthening and stretching every muscle in your body.

45 mins. Mini Power Circuits

It’s powerful, targeting all the main muscle groups it sets the pulse racing. A five station circuit, ending with a full body stretch.

30 minute Abs Workout

A series of abdominal exercises in a quick half hour session to tone and flatten the stomach.
